Every second Tuesday, VATSIM Germany invites pilots to visit Hanover airport between 1730z and 2000z to our "Hanover Trainee night" event. During this time, we will provide you with full service at northern Germanys second-largest airport. VFR or IFR, Heavy or Light, our trainees are awaiting your visit and will guide you safely from and to the runways. So what are you waiting for? Let's get flying!

We invite you to an event between Prague (LKPR) and Košice (LZKZ) - almost exactly 100 years since the first scheduled flight landed at Košice Airport. Partners of this event are SW Group Virtual and SW Virtual.
Czech Online Day takes place every Wednesday between 17 and 20 UTC at LKAA FIR. You can expect full ATC coverage at Prague LKPR.
Are you new to oceanic crossing? This First Wing event is for you! Depart from Shannon, cross half the North Atlantic Ocean, and arrive at Keflavik Airport! Full ATC coverage (including Oceanic) will be provided! Perfect chance to practise before CTP!
Both before and during the event, experienced and patient controllers and pilots will be on the VATSIM Discord to help answer any questions you have. You may join the Discord through community.vatsim.net. If you do not use Discord, VATSIM Supervisors will be on hand during the events and can be reached at any time via a .wallop.
These events will be held on a regular basis, with one edition occurring on the first and second weekends of each month. To allow everyone to participate, regardless of their timezone, the location of the event rotates every month, passing through all corners of the world.

From 17:30-20:00z, all ATC stations in Hanover will be staffed, and the controllers are excited to guide you out of, in to or through the control zone of Hanover. A short VFR trip into the countryside or a full IFR flight to the biggest airports in Europe - we are looking forward to everyone!
