November 10th, the day of Commemoration of Ataturk, we commemorate the great leader with respect, gratitude and longing, while we learn how valuable the legacy he left more and more every passing year. Ataturk is a very special leader, who has devoted his whole life to the liberation of a nation and is respected by whole world. Gazi Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, who passed away on 10th November, 1938 at five past nine o'clock, continues to live at the very heart of the Turkish Republic.
TRvACC is proud to host its next event on Sunday, 10th of November, 2024, between 17:00z and 20:00z where we will be commemorating Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. During the event Istanbul Airport (LTFM) and Ankara Esenboga Airport (LTAC) will be fully staffed along with enroute control. On this very special day, we remember and commemorate Ataturk, Türkiye vACC controllers will be looking forward to seeing you in the virtual skies of Türkiye.
