On Saturday, on May 24th 2025 from 1800z to 2100z, we invite you to a shuttle in the heart of Europe and open two airports with a special charm: Leipzig and Basel. Both airports play a key role when it comes to air freight: on the one hand, Leipzig serves as a DHL hub, where thousands of tons of freight are unloaded, sorted and reloaded every night by well-coordinated teams within a very short time. On the other hand, Basel is the only binational airport in the world, which is playing an increasingly important role in national and international supply chains thanks to its unique geographical location and excellent transport connections to several countries. In addition, both locations serve a considerable number of passenger flights to bring vacationers and business people to their destinations.
