Fun fact about Munich and the Champions League: In each of the four finals previously held in the city, the team that had never won a Champions League title before ended up winning the tournament. On the last day of the month, we’ll find out whether Paris Saint-Germain can continue this tradition and celebrate their first-ever title in front of 70,000 fans, or whether Inter will take the trophy home for the fourth time.
A large number of fans, players, and officials will need to get to Munich, and what better way to do that than via our Munich Franz Josef Strauss Airport EDDM, which we’re opening for the Champions League Final Fly-In on May 30 from 16:00 to 20:00 UTC. To make sure also low-cost enthusiasts and VIP pilots get their money’s worth, we’ll also be welcoming you at Memmingen EDJA (affectionately called "Munich West"), Augsburg EDMA, and Oberpfaffenhofen EDMO. Important: Please make sure the size of your aircraft is appropriate for the airport you choose!
We’re especially pleased that our colleagues in France and Italy are also opening Paris Charles de Gaulle and the three Milan airports, giving you the opportunity to fly in fans and teams directly.
